Don't tell me my kids aren't cause-centric

Maybe, just maybe, D and I are doing a little something right. R (our 6-yr old Kindy) has been begging to do a lemonade stand on our street to raise money for "poor kids." The problem has been that she asks at 8pm or in 35 degree weather. I asked her which poor kids she wanted to give money to. She said she didn't know what kids she wanted to help so we visited the Family Resource Center of her school. She maturely asked, "ma'am, do you have any kids here I can help?" They suggested a family who just lost their home to a fire and are starting over completely. So this weekend, feel free to come by Greentree Dr for a cup of lemonade or a used Barbie.

It's never going to be about how much money we can give, but how much God can do with just a little.
